About U.V. Patel College of Engineering
Ganpat University (GUNI), established by the Government of Gujarat through Act No.19 of 2005, is a State Private, not-for-profit multidisciplinary university located in Gujarat, India. Accredited with an “A Grade” by NAAC and recognized under section 2(f) of the UGC Act, GUNI is also a permanent member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). 🎓 Pre-Sea Training
BE / B-Tech Marine Engineering
Eligibility: 10+2 PCM ≥60%, English ≥50%, age <25, DG medical fit, 6/6 eyesight, passport required.
B.Sc Nautical Science
Eligibility: 10+2 PCM ≥60%, English ≥50%, age ≤25, medically fit, 6/6 eyesight, no color blindness.
Diploma In Nautical Science
Eligibility: 10+2 PCM, age 17–25, pursuing Deck Cadet career, eligible for pre-sea training, DG exams.
Graduate Marine Engineering
Eligibility: 10+2 PCM, medically fit, STCW training, pursuing Marine Engineering Officer career, eligible for DG pre-sea training.
Training for General Purpose Ratings
Eligibility: 10th pass, medically fit, STCW trained, joining as General Purpose Rating, covers ship duties, certificate issued.
Electro Technical Officers
Eligibility: Completed ETO pre-sea/bridging, medically fit, STCW training, responsible for ship electrical systems, eligible for ETO CoC.
