About The Neotia University
Founded under the West Bengal State Government University Act XXIII of 2014, this private university is an initiative of the Ambuja Neotia Group and approved by UGC, ICAR, DG Shipping, Bar Council of India, PCI, WBNursing Council, and SIRO. Guided by Chancellor Padmashree Harshavardhan Neotia, it offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs across Maritime Studies, Agriculture, Science & Technology, Health Sciences, Legal Studies, Management, Nursing, Hospitality, and Vocational courses. The multidisciplinary curriculum emphasizes theoretical and practical learning, NEP 2022 compliance, internships, and industry engagement. BE / B-Tech Marine Engineering
Eligibility: 10+2 PCM ≥60%, English ≥50%, age <25, DG medical fit, 6/6 eyesight, passport required.
B.Sc Nautical Science
Eligibility: 10+2 PCM ≥60%, English ≥50%, age ≤25, medically fit, 6/6 eyesight, no color blindness.
Diploma in Marine Engineering – DME
Eligibility: Class 10 Science pass, 17–25 years, DG Shipping medical fitness, good eyesight, normal color vision.
Diploma In Nautical Science – DNS
Eligibility: 10+2 PCM, age 17–25, pursuing Deck Cadet career, eligible for pre-sea training, DG exams.
